At Kingsbridge Physiotherapy Clinic & Sports Injury Clinic, we belive in treating the whole body rather than treating an injury or medical issue in isolation. That’s why we offer an extensive range of services to help improve movement and function.

Manual Therapy

Physiotherapy helps restore movement and function when you are affected by injury, illness or disability. A number of different treatments and preventative approaches are used, dependent on the specific problems you are experiencing. For example, issues may be age related, such as inflammatory arthritic degenerative changes or from acute injury caused by a fall or sports injury.

Pain Management and Recovery

At your first appointment we fully assess and identify your individual needs and a treatment plan is designed.

We use manual hands-on therapy and tailor-made rehabilitation programmes to help you return to your normal daily activities.

Sports Injuries and Sports Therapy

We use a wide range of treatment modalities, such as ultrasound, massage, joint mobilisation and exercise-based rehabilitation to help reduce pain and discomfort from musculoskeletal injuries. For issues such as: knee, ankle and foot injuries, muscle tears, tendons and ligament sprains or musculoskeletal issues.

Sports Massage

Sports Massage is the manipulation of soft tissue that can relieve muscular pain by improving muscle flexibility and increased blood flow.  It can Increase lymph flow and break down adhesions and scar tissue which builds up over time causing tension.

Rehabilitation

Evidence based exercise rehabilitation is an effective treatment for a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries and following surgery. We provide personally prescribed exercises dependent on your needs with 1-2-1 sessions and home programming.

Exercise rehabilitation can aid issues such as lower back, knee, hip and ankle pain. We can offer pre and post surgery rehabilitation also.

Dermalux Flex

The Dermalux Flex MD© can be used to reduce inflammation in an area, relieve muscular and joint pain and is medically certified to accelerate wound healing. It is a non invasive and pain free treatment.

Cancellation Policy: 24 hours.

We require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment. Failure to attend an appointment with less than 24 hours notice of cancellation will incur the charge for the full appointment. This is because we may not be able to fill your appointment slot and still need to cover our costs.

However, if you need to cancel your appointment at short notice please call us on 01548 581175 and we shall discuss the cost implications on a case by case basis.

I have suffered for most of my life with a weak lower back that is very susceptible to going into spasm if I tend to over exert it in the garden etc….. I was recommended to try Danielle some months ago and have to say I am delighted with her skills.  She not only now sorts my back out but also relieves my stiff upper back and shoulders that I suffer with following Cancer surgery and Radiotherapy….
